The illustrious, limitless, Iyalosa OlaOmi Oshunyemi Akalatunde Voodoo Queen is a hereditary Black witch, hailing from a line of Native American and African healers, midwives, herbalists and fortune tellers. She has been initiated into the Anago tradition as a priestess of Oshun for 30 years, trained by The Medahochi Zannu in the United States, the Fagbenro and Fatunmise families in Nigeria, and crowned Voodoo Queen. She is a multi-published author with books on The Tradition, Pan-African unschooling and a collection of essays on the power of the Black Woman. She has been a proud unschooling mother for 32 years. She has also guided hundreds of Black women along the path to full womanhood with Black Witchcraft classes, youtube videos, lectures and podcasts. She is honored to fulfill her destiny through the uplifting of her sisters.

As a prenatal and postpartum fitness instructor, she helps mothers restore self-care and confidence at every stage of motherhood. Jenia’s signature class, Shake, Tone, & Sweat, offers a supportive space where women can embrace their fitness journeys while building community. Dedicated to promoting wellness and self-love, her mission is to inspire women to prioritize their physical and mental well-being.
